Brian Borghesani Introduction and Portfolio

on

Hi, my name is Brian, I am a senior in computer science but I have always been interested in art. I am doing this class because I have always liked to make my own art and be able to take more creative liberties and I like how light interacts with the world around us. This is also going to be a way for me to express myself like I would not be able to in my other classes.

I have taken a couple of art classes here so far. The classes are Essentials of Art, Digital Art, 3D Modeling 1, and Interactive Electronic Art. I especially liked 3D Modeling 1 cause it allowed me to think of creating a 3D character as adding and removing clay with “brushes” and Interactive Electronic Art cause it incorporated some of my major of CS as it was programing a micro-controller and I used it to control rgb lights.

This is my final project from Interactive Electronic Art
where the RGB strip is controlled by sounds in the room
This is my final project from Digital Art and it is using perspective by moving around the camera
This is an input device that can tell if you touch the snow flake, light switch or the flame
A still of a speaker laying on its side
A still of a sheet hanging on a wall with wrinkles showing how light interacts and creates shadows
This is a remix of a video where I used a controller to do effects live
