Everything Working

The 3D model is making remarkable progress and is soon expected to be printed, paving the way for the next steps. After dedicating numerous hours to navigating the intricacies of ZBrush and reassessing my plan in light of the remaining time (pun intended), the mask has begun to take shape. My intention is to create a design that embodies a balance between mechanical and organic elements, reflecting my experiences in robotic engineering at this institution—specifically, the challenges faced without succumbing to defeat, an aspect that is inherently human yet intertwined with technology. Additionally, I incorporated smaller battle scars into the design, as I felt the mask appeared unbalanced with only the large circular cut and an otherwise pristine surface. I hope that during the post-processing phase, I will be able to accentuate these damaged areas, enhancing the overall impact of the piece.

Furthermore, all the electronic components and post processing materials have arrived, and I have begun testing the Pixelblaze V3 with the Sensory Expansion Board combination. The setup process was straightforward; however, it requires me to be connected to my home Wi-Fi in order to transmit data. While this should not impact the final piece—since the board is capable of saving code—it is somewhat inconvenient at this stage.
