I present Starry Light! This is my take on a large-scale LITE BRITE Board that I used to play with as a kid. The piece is presented as a 2’x3′ acrylic board with a back-lit LED board that comes with assorted colors of pegs! I designed the board to have a photo of “Starry Night” by Van Gogh, although, the board is customizable and can have any image on it.
The materials for this project included:
- 2’x3′ plexiglass board (3mm thick)
- Laser cutter
- alcohol-based inks
- Mini Glue sticks (0.27 inch diameter)
- rubbing alcohol
