As well as using the laser cutter, my addressable LED strips are now working with the Pixelblaze. I soldered a phoenix converter to the pixelblaze, and then was then able to plug the LED strips directly into the phoenix connector with no additional connectors. I then took the LED strips wired used for power and plugged them into a power converter. To power the converter I cut open a power cord and plugged the live, neutral, and ground wires into the converter accordingly.
