I have two primary ideas for my project, one of which photography related and the other of which is some sort of LED piece I can use as a wall piece in my apartment. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Drone Light Painting<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Light painting has always been an interesting concept to me, though I’ve never been able to explore it. I do a decent amount of photography in my free time, however, it’s usually nature photography and city photography, never touching concepts of exposures or artistic lighting techniques. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

This is an example of light painting. Although it appears to be multiple exposures it’s very likely this photo was all taken in one exposure.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

Photos like these first sparked my interest in light painting until I recently saw photos using a drone as a paintbrush. This made me interested because it brought the idea of light painting into the sky. It might sound mundane but it’s always something I’ve wanted to try<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This was one of the inspirational drone photos that I saw that made me most interested in trying it out.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

LED Wall Art<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Alternatively, I could do something with LEDs. I’m not quite sure what that would be because I am still trying to find a mix of something that I would both be able to make in this constricted time frame, and that would be useful. I want my art to be a centerpiece if it is tangible, and thus it should be sound reactive or something.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I really like the light bars in this piece, I think it might be cool to create a wall or hanging art or something with them that is music-reactive. This would require a microphone or Bluetooth capability, which I haven’t planned that far <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Some piece similar to this might be modern, sleek, yet cool, especially if it is reactive to sound or something similar. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Overall I’m not certain which route I want to take but both are very different and I’d appreciate feedback as to routes I could take with both of them so I can make a decision that would suit my needs.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
