My name is Liam Hoyle. I am a Mechanical Engineering Major with a Minor in Physics.\u00a0 I like to read, draw on my iPad, or work on personal projects in my free time. My interest in art grew during my high school physics class. Mr. Noviello was the teacher and he now works at Worcester Polytechnic Institute (WPI). He encouraged learning so I began trying new things like art and found it fun. I don\u2019t plan to make art into any type of career, it\u2019s more of a hobby. However, I have found it to be a useful skill in projects from time to time. I took a digital art class at WPI and learned to use Adobe Photoshop and Animate. I\u2019ve also attended a few different traditional art classes. I know how to code in MATLAB and I built my computer at home. I\u2019m also pretty proud of my soldering skills. Art is my main creative outlet. I also enjoy writing. My main inspiration to create art comes from nature, which I enjoyed on my IQP in Montana. One of the projects that I am most proud of is painting my Air Force 1s, which I have included a picture of. The process was new to me. It was a lot of fun, and I was happy with the results.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
