I had quite a few failures in the process. One of the first failures was when I decided to use an old lamp as a source of light for my RGB lightbulb, since it is a bit tall, it has a small ring under the lightbulb socket that I thought I could use for support when creating a base layer made out of cardboard. Unfortunately, the cardboard is not enough of a strong material to use as a base. As well as, when I bough myself a spinning bearing that are usually use for lazy Susans, I thought it would be perfect to add to for the base, but the spinning bearing had a hard time spinning, it seems to only spin somewhat better when it has a heavy pressure on it, which would not work for this project.
Failure N2 was when it came to the drawn frames for the zoetrope. I have finally finished drawing all 3 colored layers: red, green, and blue. The issue was when I was testing to see the layers with different colored light filters only red was doing well and green was barely visible with also the blue drawn layer covering some of the green and making the green drawing layer barely visible.
I will be looking into more about RGB art and finding maybe a different base fore the zoetrope.
