I chose to research Urbanscreen for my light artist. They’re a group based out of Germany, but with installations all around the world. They mostly do projects covering the sides of entire buildings, but they’ve also made some smaller interior exhibitions. Most of the projection mapping side of things is fairly straightforward, but where they really shine is taking existing features of a building and expanding upon it. They craft the animations and videos with the space in mind, which leads to incredible displays that are integrated with the specific sites really well.
