This week I tried to get fur working. That uhhh… didn’t really work that well. I have to up the hair density a ton to even start to get something that doesn’t look terrible, and even then, I’m having issues with weird clumping and seams. I can shorten the hair on the ears, in fact I should be doing that, but I’m getting weird seam issues on the body itself. That issue is harder to fix. I don’t have a powerful enough computer to be able to develop this efficiently either. Everything lags, and I think my time would be better spent on other animations instead. So moving forward, I’ll keep this in the back of my mind in case I have a sudden revelation that makes this all trivial, but I don’t think I’ll pursue making fur any longer.
