Hello! My name is Saida, you guys can call me Sai. I was born in RI but lived half of my life in my parent’s native country Kyrgyzstan. I lived in the city capital Bishkek.

When I was little I wasn’t able to talk till the age of six, and just in general I had a hard time expressing my feelings. At some point I saw a girl in my kindergarten class draw and ever since meeting with her art was my thing.

My goal is to become a character concept designer because sketching and drawing out ideas is my favorite part when it comes to drawing.

Almost my whole life I always drew on paper with mechanical pencils, I am actually a collector of mechanical pencils and have a big collection. I only recently started drawing on digital and am still getting used to drawing on a screen. I have bought CSP not too long ago and am still learning how to use the program but before then I would draw on procreate. I also did some 3D modeling in Zbrush with some professors in WPI.

I am not too big of a fan of programming since it is a bit difficult for me to comprehend but I was a CS major in my freshman year but now as a junior I am an IMGD BA major and a CS minor.

Probably my biggest inspirations right now are shows like Arcane and the new animated Spiderman film that came out this year. I have followed so many artists who worked on these project shows/films.

I don’t really have much else to say but now I can show you what I have done:

Drew an angel boy to try do more rendering practice

And lastly a little illustration I drew for my BF’s birthday

Drew all of my friends’ DnD characters in my campaign
