I believe it was Plato who wrote the Allegory of the Cave. A thought experiment where people who have been imprisoned all of their life with their heads restrained to look at projections cast on the wall by a fire. To these people, the shadows are their reality, as they know nothing else.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The goal of my project was to demonstrate this idea and bridge the gap between reality and the imaginary.
