My name is Taylor Wood and I am from all over the United States. Most recently I have lived in Rhode Island but I have moved almost every year of my life up until high school. Being able to travel most of my life has allowed me to see many forms of expression from all over the country. From watching the Indigenous Polynesian people of the Hawaiian Islands dancing hula kahiko and hula auana to observing the colossal granite sculpture: Mount Rushmore. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Art of all forms has been a large part of my life and it continues to be today as I enjoy hobbies including writing poetry, photography, playing the trumpet, embroidery, sewing, and just general crafting.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

My experience with technology in the arts include using photoshop, adobe premier, and working with lighting equipment in order to make a broad range of works from the creation and re-enacting of short films to silly photoshopped pieces. My work with the traditional arts include charcoal, pastel, pencil, pen, and sculpture (typically clay). <\/p>\n\n\n\n

I also wanted to illustrate some of the short films that I have made. I have embedded two below. The one on the left, Parallel Worlds<\/em>, is a comparison of society in a different time period to our own today. The one on the right, Portrait of a Baker, illustrates the life of a baker named Cole Ouellette. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
