<\/a>Initial Painting tests. <\/figcaption><\/figure><\/li><\/ul><\/figure>\n\n\n\n I quickly discovered that scale is going to be very important with this project. I will need to work a little larger than I am used to in order to incorporate the amount of detail that I want to include. I am also going to need to purchase a set of basic sculpting tools.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The Fluorescent paint works both differently and better than I thought it would. Instead of needing a black light to fluoresce I can just leave the pieces out in the light for a while and they will fluoresce when either brought into the dark or when it gets dark outside. A potential new concept could be placing this piece in an outdoor location, which would allow it to naturally gain exposure to UV and the darkness to actually exhibit the fluorescence. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
In the next coming weeks I am going to be mainly focused on sculpting and painting there aren’t exact benchmarks that I can place as both stages are relatively dynamic. If I have time I would like to go through several iterations of sculpting like the one I have above.
