Instead of the stag that would normally be with her left hand she is instead carrying a mirror shield, a reference to the medusa myth; Medusa again being a symbol used in conjunction with the protection of women. This shield is being used to block societies &#8220;views&#8221; on women&#8217;s bodies, which is represented by the backlight which will be shinning on the statue causing florescent paint to light up &#8220;flaws&#8221; like stretch marks, acne and so on.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:20px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-text-color has-background has-vivid-green-cyan-background-color has-vivid-green-cyan-color is-style-wide\" \/>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-black-color has-text-color has-large-font-size\"><strong>Artist Questions<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"has-normal-font-size wp-block-list\"><li>I&#8217;m trying to choose between my two concepts. Both are important to me for different reasons. Which do you think is more interesting?<\/li><li>Does anyone know how I would approach potentially making my first concept sound reactive?<\/li><li>Do you think that the meaning behind my second concept will be conveyed?
