Hi everyone, my name is Tim Giddings and I’m from Philadelphia. I’ve always enjoyed art but never considered myself much of an artist. Since I was little I have loved making things, not necessarily art, just anything that involved working with my hands. I think the saying “jack of all trades master of none” fits me pretty well as I have never really suck with one kind of art for very long because I usually have the most fun when I am learning something new. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the past I have done digital art with Photoshop and Maya, I learned photoshop so I could make better album covers for my friend\u2019s music. I also spent quite a bit of time making music with Ableton and Logic pro and learned a lot from him. For a while I was very focused on photography and spent time doing drone photography and long exposure photography. When I was in high school I spent some time learning about glass blowing and ceramics. Most recently I have been focusing on woodworking and metal working, both making things by hand like wood longboard decks and making things digitally and using laser cutters and CNC mills to produce them. I also am interested in living art and have made many terrariums using plants I have grown or found in the woods.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I have decent experience with electronics and programing because I was originally an RBE major before I switched to ME. I have done a lot of projects involving wiring and circuits but I usually stay away from coding. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

My inspiration almost always comes from a combination of nature and geometry. I spend as much time as I can outside and the things I make are usually something I have seen and try to recreate. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
