I succeeded in cutting out all of the pieces, and I grinded a full panel and half of the rest of the three panels. Since I had a full panel grinded I soldered it together to see how the shapes will look with the light. The light bulb I bought has a mode to dim and get brighter like waves crashing on a shore. I also ordered two small LED spotlights to put into the lamp to get the glass pattern to really show when the light bulb is off.
