Then I took a bright flash light and shined it through the glass pieces, the results were very underwhelming. The triangular shape was not giving me the shadow patters that I was imagining in my head. Shadows underwater are always very soft and have curved edges, the shadows that my triangular glass pieces were creating were very hard and angular. I decided to change the pattern of my glass in this project to curved pieces. The curved pieces are very hard to cut and I have never done it before . I failed at cutting the curved pieces at first but found a really helpful video online. It turns out that I was using the wrong tools, and after I watched the video I got the hang of cutting the curved pieces. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
After my first failure with the shadows I adapted my project but failed again. After I did some more research I succeeded in cutting the curved glass shapes and creating more of a water like shadow, this is not to say that I will not fail again at some point in the future of the project, but now I know how to overcome these failures. <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
I started off the week by cutting two medium sized triangles and soldering them together.
