This is my midterm! After assembling everything together, I have concluded that there are a few more assets that i need to model. These assets include some form of window, entrance gate and some foliage like statues and flowers for the environment of my level. After making my level, I did add some components like the base with stairs leading up to the temple. I also changed some textures for the foldable fall and interior wall to match the doors because I liked the paper texture a lot. I also feel like I need more interior assets to make the interior of the temple look livelier. Other things I might add is having a more scenic view of when the character goes onto the balcony. That is something I am currently working on to create some type of entrance to get out to the balcony. I think I am going to have the character go out a window to get onto the balcony.
During class, I noticed that people were using tiles and used the same idea to make my base floors for the exterior and interior floors. One particular tile I liked was the floor and ceiling in the tower. These tiles are simple models but, the textures make them pop and look amazing even though they are low poly. The exterior did take a long time because of how many tiles I had to place. I think my level overall has a noticeable and unique aspect to it. Other components I want to add include trees bushes, and a river.
For my level, I designed it to be three levels and there were certain things that worked and some that didn’t. One particular thing that I have to adjust is the roof. Especially the bottom roof. I had to adjust the size to fit the bottom floor and it looks a little squashed. I will adjust it in maya and make it look more sharp and less flat-looking.
Here are my screenshots! I didn’t realize I still had the move tool on.

In my demo video, I didn’t have enough time to import the character and work on the colliders. So, I just put simple box colliders and had the basic 3rd person mode to look at the level. It still is in the works but, after seeing it from a third person perspective, I think I am going to change it to a first-person perspective. This level is still in the works and can’t wait to see how it turns out in the final product!
