Alistair: Multi-Talented Extraordinaire

I’m Alistair (he/him). I’m from California, and my whole life has been steeped in art and storytelling, so being able to practice those things full-time so I can one day bring those stories to a larger audience has been pretty great! I have the most years of experience in music, having learned a lot of instruments and arranging and composing for them, but my visual art skills have been catching up and I’ve been eager to use all the skills I’ve learned in various projects both for school and personal projects. As I continue to improve the quality of my work, I’m also interested in learning how to learn other styles faster so that I can create a wider range of work. I’ve only made four games so far, half of which are text-based and the other half are visual novels, and only one of which has withstood the test of time (and is linked further down). Some of my favorite games of all time include Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess, Legend of Zelda: Spirit Tracks Kid Icarus Uprising, Professor Layton, and Great Ace Attorney Chronicles, and these are often the games I turn to for inspiration, though they’re never the only ones. Outside of the videogame arts, I also sew plushies, clothes, and costumes.

Finally, please enjoy a sampling of my work.

I really love the broad range of colors you have on your art, especially on the Celestial King. His dress contrasts really well in comparison to his dark skin.

No but for real I’d give you a Shiny badge based on how well you handle lighting and shadows in your 2D work, well done!
