I’ve still got to make my modular kit modeling + texturing posts, which I’ve been avoiding since I’ve been doing them in a strange order, but here is the progress I’ve made so far.
I’ve decided to focus on just the outside of the tower for the work in this class, and finish the rest as a personal project afterwards since it is severely out of scope, especially with how complicated the tower itself is.
Here are screenshots from Unity. I did some experimentation with a toon shader in unity to keep all my colors flat, and thus far all my textures are pretty simple.
I have yet to model the outside landscape as I am considering doing it in zbrush instead of using Unity’s built in system so as to get better control over the details. I still have several things left that need to be sculpted, and the top of the tower still needs to be modeled and textured.
