Hanwen Xu – Midterm

on

This is what I have right now. Because I am making an indoor scene and the layout is fairly simple, I want to get as many models and textures done as possible before I lay them out in Unity. Here are what I have right now, the hand dryer, walls, and floors are not textured yet.

I know the complete environment should be finished right now. I ended up sick throughout the Thanksgiving week, so I could not do much work. Also, I am rethinking my map layout as I make the environment assets, so I hesitated to put everything together. But I got everything figured out right now, and I will lay out the assets together after I finish texturing walls and floors.

The windows cannot see through because I want to make the outdoor part of my game the toilet world. On the one hand, I want a more suffocating feeling at first. On the other, I want to give a more sheer contrast at the end by teleporting the main character to an outdoor environment. That scene will be made up of different toilets.

For the toilet, I see it as a part of character modeling (I will also use it as an environmental asset in the end), and I want to make it look more polished than other assets, so I have not started yet.

Overall, I want to give an old, worn-out look to everything.
