Being my first experiences with Maya, the game assets were leaning a bit on the box-y side of things, but I think it came out well.

This is the starting alleyway of the game. The signs in the game were meant to be neon lights, but I couldn’t get fog assets to import to Unity (cause Unity,) so there they sit with some point lights.

I tried putting some sewer drainage spots on the map, but the coloring on the tiles was too dark.

I wanted the buildings to be a bit taller in the final version with a casino at the edge of the map, but I had to reduce scope.

I decided to put some nice lanterns in the main street cause they seemed fun to model and make.

At the edge of the map, there is a nice ocean with a beach filled with palm trees. I wanted to convey that there is paradise outside the city but the player is confined by barriers, forever destined to be stuck in the concrete prison.
