My level takes place in a Toadstool Forest! You play as a tiny pixie, so the objects in the world look huge compared to you. The pixie you play as wishes to see the outside world. At the beginning of the game you start in the pixie village where you can see many cute mushroom houses. You also encounter a wise old mushroom turtle who tells you the door to the outside world can be found by going through the hedge maze. You can go through the maze and once you are out you find the door you have been looking for. I added particles, music, and a voice over by the mushroom turtle to try to make the game feel more finished and more magical.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

When I look back on my project, I definitely learned a lot. I had not done much 3D modeling so making all my models was a learning process for me. I also had never worked with Unity or Substance, so I was able to learn two new programs. I would say my most significant area of growth was becoming comfortable with making 3D art. I had always tried to stay away from it because I had a bad experience when I first tried to learn it. I now feel I have a good workflow and understanding on how to create 3D models and texture those models. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

I would like to give credit and thanks to Caden Crist, who created and composed the music that I am using in my level.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
