Hello peoples! My name is Nathan Clune and I’m an independent game designer from New Jersey. I’m currently attending Worcester Polytechnic Institute as an Interactive Media & Game Design major.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I have some reservations about pursuing the game industry, but I know I want to work in some sort of visual design. I feel strongly about that because the artistic process is something I find creatively fulfilling, and I’ve always been interested in the idea of designing any sort of experience. Even outside of games, I find user experience to be a compelling challenge. Figuring out the best way to make something interesting, intuitive, or otherwise engaging is something I enjoy thinking about.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I also have interest and experience in 2D and 3D animation. My favorite programs would have to be Adobe Animate and Maya, respectively, but I also have experience with most of the Adobe suite. Between drawing, modeling, animation, or video editing, I try to stay as well-rounded as possible. I generally prefer to stick with digital art because more often than not, what I produce is math based. Whenever possible, I would rather type in numbers to tell the computer what I want rather than create something manually. Plus, there’s no ctrl-z on a sheet of paper.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I also have a website to display some of the game projects I have worked on in the past, as well as my general resume. All of the games featured on the website are playable in some form. For each one, the website provides either a download link or the playable game itself! You can find these projects at nathanclune.org<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
