The people you interact with in my game grant items that work as keys towards the final room. They will be loosely inspired by my closest friends at WPI. The player’s perspective will be based on mine. As the game is taking place, I am going through a great change. Talking to my friends should hopefully make the player feel safe and guided as I did. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
The game will take place in the middle of the ocean. In the distance, countless dark metal monoliths jutting out. Where the player stands, two monoliths are raised, a great bridge connected by them. The monoliths are identical. Atop each of them is one house, their exteriors identical but interiors not. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
The player starts in house 1, loosely based on my childhood home. No one is home, the curtains are closed so you cant see outside. There is a goodbye note\/chores list from my mom. The chores list demonstrates the items necessary for later. Once completed the player exits the house. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
This should be the player’s first time seeing this, so they are taken aback. It is cold and windy. The moon is full and the sky is glowed by monoliths. The player must cross the bridge. Entering the seemingly identical home, the player realizes the layout is different and literally covered in darkness. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
By interacting with the “fun and colorful” people, AKA friends I met throughout college, you are given items that will ultimately return the house to normal. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
The style will be exaggerated, the first home will be cheerful and the second not. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
