The Main character in this world is a siren-human Hybrid that washes up on the shore and has no clue where she is or who she is. The game would be played from her perspective, and the player’s goal is to find items\/talk to other NPCs in the form of shopkeepers who are also sea creature human hybrids to eventually uncover the mystery of who this girl is. Her backstory is that she’s the daughter of the leader of the land, and she had been missing for 3 days before washing up on shore. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
The Game takes place in a surreal world where there are marine plants and animals mixed with land plants and humans. The player will start the level on the beach of an island in the middle of the sea and will be able to walk up onto a boardwalk where all the shopkeepers and NPCs will be. Throughout, there will be things that the player can pick up\/ interact with. The time of day is Morning\/ midday during the summer time, and it is sunny out. There will be flowers, moss vines, stone, coral shells, lanterns, barrels, bushes, and lights all around.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Some important things the player might come across are the other characters in the game that could give the player information. There will also be messages in a bottle scattered in hidden places that the player can find with varying messages from other characters in the game, and also from the girl’s past self. There will be a collecting and selling mechanism that could help the player gain money to be able to buy things that could help them progress in levels. Things the player could collect are things ike shells, driftwood, and various things that wash up on the beach.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The Style of the game would be cute, magical, and surreal. The colors will be very bright and fun, with mostly Pastels (blue, pink, green). It will be more stylized to be more bubbly and will have softer shadows and elements. Distinctive Elements that I would like to have are the mix of underwater with land aspects. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
The game would be a collection, story-based game that has the player interact with everything and everyone to progress. Their goal is to find items (obviously placed and hidden) that could be used to further the story of who the girl is or where she is, or the items could be used to sell or customize the character the player is playing as.
