Vaping is becoming more and more of a trend among teenagers, even bleeding into middle schoolers\u2019 lives. This early exposure to nicotine presents a very high risk of future nicotine addiction. While vaping is seen as the more \u201chealthy\u201d alternative, it is a gateway for children and teenagers into the world of nicotine and nicotine products.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The graphic shows three Juuls (popular vaping device) with bars inside of each. Each bar is a percentage of teenagers that said they tried vaping products. The tallest bars represent 12th graders, the second tallest bars represent 10th graders, and the third tallest bars represent 8th graders. The first Juul represents statistics from 2017, the second Juul represents statistics from 2018, and the third Juul represents statistics from 2019.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
When the user clicks + holds down on a Juul, smoke will quickly billow out. If the player clicks, holds, and drags across the three Juuls, all three will billow smoke out slowly at the same time. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Changes I made since the last sketch: Added material to the Juul so that they are shiny and look much more like a Juul, however this sacrifices the transparency that the Juuls in the sketch had. Made the bars different shades of red to show increasing intensity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
