There’s a lot to unpack in this sketch, so let’s start from the top. This visual was created using the framediff program, allowing me to affect the speed of some audio by moving around. My idea was to take the fast part of Eminem’s Rap God and add it to the mix to see how it worked. Once this was accomplished, I decided to make this particular piece stand out from the previous by having the silhouette show up as the video instead of the file (which I thought would be boring.)<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Thus, I created this monstrosity of a video. I figured out how to alter the colors in nice ways, and create a surreal experience for ya’ll to enjoy. Since this particular piece is a video, I pretty much do the same thing as depicted. I start with slow movements to begin the song at a slow pace, then thrash about to speed it up to a crazed pace. Don’t worry, no parts of my room or laptop were harmed in the making of this film.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
