For my Meme Remix I chose to work with some well known songs that either have been “memed” or used ubiquitously. This includes:
Welcome to the Internet – Bo Burnham
A Mash up of Daft Punk songs
Lemaitre – Closer (To my understanding this song of theirs is used in many commercials and I recognize it every time it plays, CHECK OUT THEIR OTHER MUSIC, they are so much more than this one song!)
Wonderland – Caravan Palace (This one got memed, but holy fluff, please check out all the animations and music videos for Caravan Palace!!! They range from amazingly and artistically absurd to evoking a feeling of pure bop!)<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Otherwise, I was only able to set it up to where you can take small word Blips of each song and say the full sentence of “Just imagine; There’s no need to panic; Around the world; and I can feel my heart beat”
I guess my inspiration for picking these songs was the fact that even with these songs being well know, I know a lot more about the artists’ other music or have a more deep connection with their music. But here’s a small clip of the remix in action.
