For my interactive touch project, one of the first personal ‘truths’ which came to my mind was a contradicting idea where from different types of sci-fi\/fantasy media there are often messages such as “everyone is the same” and “accepting differences.” I love both of these ideas, but they are contradictory from a definition standpoint. So, I thought I could try to portray three different mainstream fictional creatures and create short animatics with each one triggered by a central artistic piece through Makey Makey. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The image may not be this elaborate, since this one was done in Adobe Photoshop and the final one will have to be done with paper and a 6B pencil. <\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

The animatics will have a few fictional characters such as a goblin, elf, and ogre interacting in ways demonstrating how they are different from each other, but also a similarity between them. For example, the goblin and ogre will demonstrate their respective height differences, but will be laughed at by the elf (since goblins and ogres are often seen as ‘evil’). This idea is not definitive, it is to help elaborate the theme.<\/p>\n\n\n
