I have chosen to focus on streaming services for my data sketch since they were a comforting medium during quarantine and were often used by my family as a fun bonding activity. Television and movies are one of my greatest fascinations with the world and from streaming services I have seen many different programs tackling new stories structures as well as have the opportunity to revisit older ones. However, from having the fortunate access to other streaming services, I pondered which one would people be more drawn to during the COVID-19 pandemic. So, I found an article comparing several streaming services’ revenue during the pandemic.
The data sketch is a comparative analysis of the subscribers of some streaming services based on the source: https://www.cnbc.com/2021/07/05/streaming-services-compared-revenue-arpu-for-netflix-disney-more.html

Each cube represents the number of subscribers for a specified streaming service, and the color of each cube is based on a definitive color from their logo. The red cube represents Netflix’s 208 million paying subscribers, the smaller dark blue cube shows the 103.6 million Disney+ subscribers, the larger blue cube presents Amazon Prime’s 175 million of their 200 million global subscribers who used their streaming service in the past year, the pink cube has HBO Max’s 63.9 million global subscribers, the yellow one shows the 42 million U.S. residents who signed up for NBC’s Peacock, and the black cube represents Starz’s 29.5 million global subscribers.

The question is: how can each service be represented in a more ‘creative’ way? I plan to keep the size differences to visualize the number of subscribers in each service, but I am uncertain if a cube is the best way to convey this. Additionally, some services such as Amazon Prime and Disney+ have a significant use of the color blue in their logos. Can anyone suggest a way to differentiate them further?

I can imagine for each steaming service, use a different animation for each one to represent the different genres that each of the streaming services are know for.
For example, maybe a pulsing animation for Netflix (like the bud dum of their color)
Or for DIsney, use a smooth animation to be reminiscent of the whimsical stories Disney is known for.
Thank you.
