Arduino Sketch (John L)

The video above is just a quick demo of using the force sensor as a switch. When someone touches the sensor, the audio begins to play. When the sensor is free after someone touches it, the audio plays the second half. The original video of the audio is shown below, along with an image of…

Arduino Demo Sketch: Light Touch

For this demo sketch, I attempted to use the force, temperature, and light sensors. All of them could affect what would appear on the Max 8 (or Cycling 74) Cycle-delic patch. The video below demonstrates how all three sensors affect the Cycle-delic patch: The force sensor was able to change the patterns of what would…

Arduino Demo Sketch

I used the light sensor with the Arduino to control the time of day as shown by the sky in this scene. I was interested in using the temperature sensor as well to control seasons but that would have been harder to convey with just a sky scene. The Arduino is super fun and easy…

The Noisy Opera Singer- Will Aaron- Computer Vision

For my Computer Vision sketch, I wanted to create a masked face for the user to wear and have that mask respond on various levels to audio input, however I changed the scope slightly into processing audio which is much more satisfying. Warning- Slightly Loud.

Audio Input Sketch

For my sketch, I used Unity to detect microphone volume and create particle effects with their size based on the volume of the audio. It was a neat challenge to work with microphone input in Unity as I haven’t done it before. 🙂

AudioScape

Hey all, I focused on a audio visualizer based on the amplitude of microphone input. I definitely could use more time with this one, but it was good proof of concept.

Conor Dolan – Computer Vision/Audio Input Sketch

For my project, I decided to recreate the iconic flappy bird game using audio as an input. I know it’s not the most aesthetically pleasing thing to look at, but otherwise I’m happy with how it came out. The more audio input you give, the higher that flappy bird goes.

Audio/Visualizer Sketch

Going off my meme remix, I decided to continue with the Kermit theme. For this sketch I made it so the user has a Kermit mask and whenever you say hello into the microphone, it play Kermit saying “hello there.” The mask would sometime not match up with the face and glitch.

Computer Vision/Audio Sketch – The Party Pixel Clapper

For this mini project I was inspired by Not Tonight and Party Hard as well as modern retro games. I used the camera and mic to create a pixel tracker and a sound checker to switch the music. I used no copyright sounds because last time I got copyright claims for my meme remix which…

Audio Input Sketch – Wingardium LeviOsa (Hanwen Xu)

So the whole idea behind this audio input sketch is an interactive Wingardium Leviosa spell casting. You would need to touch your wand to being, and say Wingardium Leviosa in the right way (say ‘LeviOsa’ as loud as you can) to successfully cast the spell. If you did not cast the spell correctly, Hermione will…

Sneaky Snowden

For this project, since it focuses on capturing a users video and/or audio, I thought I could try to elaborate on the fact that anyone could be spied on at any moment, especially on their smart phone. The goal is to create an interface recording both audio and video, and each triggers either an audio,…

Warren’s Computer Vision/Audio Input

For my sketch, I made a glitching effect by separating certain layers of the webcam, applying it to a plane, and then changing the size depending on mic input. Each layer of color is being lagged at a bpm of 130 where only 1 is active at a time. The effect I am trying to…

This is not NCS

A simple, yet effective NCS visualizer(It’s somehow a meme among some producers and I don’t know why). My question is: How can I create a png sprite with transparent background in a jit world?

Nathan Clune – Audio Input Sketch

My audio input sketch is a voice-controlled airplane. Unfortunately I haven’t been able to record it for a number of reasons involving my PC / microphone, but the Max code is more or less complete. The user can control the altitude of the plane through audio input (ideally by making engine noises). High pitched sounds…

Computer Vision/Audio Input Sketch – Squish The Squirrel

He jump. He stretch. He squish. All with the power of your screams. Ok maybe screams is an overstatement. Either way, I present to you my lil squirrel doodle that I made react to audio input. It’s a simple system, but as soon as we started discussing this project in class I knew I wanted…

Computer Vision/Audio Sketch by Garet Mildish

There’s a lot to unpack in this sketch, so let’s start from the top. This visual was created using the framediff program, allowing me to affect the speed of some audio by moving around. My idea was to take the fast part of Eminem’s Rap God and add it to the mix to see how…

Computer Vision/Audio Input (John L)

Look! There is a man trapped in that box! He can’t get out! I wanted this little sketch to reference that of what mimes do. I find it very intriguing how they can make illusions out of nothing. The only issues I had with the project was I wanted to add an audio piece to…

Dylan Valev Computer Vision/Audio Input Sketch

For this sketch, I decided to make a live audio visualizer that takes in microphone input and has a shader react to the noise. Very loud distorted noise warning, I tried to make a variety of noises/volumes with the funky SFX I applied for my stream of consciousness rambling.

Computer Vision/Audio Input Sketch: The Composer

For my sketch, I incorporated a piano that is motion censored(KSlider tool), so when the screen senses a face, it plays notes while also adding a “mask” of the composer Beethoven, I thought this would tie into the whole piano/composer aspect! A small problem I ran into was how the hand movements, unfortunately, disrupt the…

Meme Remix Sketch: QuarterAttack

For this sketch, I tried to distort the audio and video of a scene I found hilarious on RoosterTeeth’s Camp Camp. It’s a comedy show aimed for older audiences and focuses on the hijinks of a group of campers (sometimes other secondary and tertiary characters) often rebelling against the authority of the camp’s counselors. The…

Music Mash Up | Meme Remix

For my Meme Remix I chose to work with some well known songs that either have been “memed” or used ubiquitously. This includes: Welcome to the Internet – Bo BurnhamA Mash up of Daft Punk songsLemaitre – Closer (To my understanding this song of theirs is used in many commercials and I recognize it every…

Meme Remix: Bungee Gum

Hisoka, one of the main antagonists of the anime series Hunter x Hunter, possesses an ability called “Bungee Gum”, named after his favorite bubblegum candy from when he was a child. This ability is actually the strongest ability of its kind in the series. There need only be one thing to understand about Bungee Gum:…

Meme Remix Sketch – Lettuce Wrap

My meme remix is based off of two pieces of media that bring me immense joy: The “Dancing” meme that is just videos of individuals doing goofy groovy dances, and a short video of a man saying “I’m a piece of lettuce” that my friends and I often reference. I made a few short clips…

Meme Remix Sketch – DK Show

The DK Show was one of the very first Motion Capture TV show and it is weirdly written and forced songs are constantly popping up per episode. I decided to emphasis and exaggerate the random song transition by using random with counters. This show gives many mixed emotions which I tried to use a random…

Meme Remix Pepe Silvia

For my meme remix sketch, I wanted to use a scene from one of my favorite shows: It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia. One of my favorite scenes and what I thought would be the most remix-able is the famous “Pepe Silvia” scene. Here’s my remix below: And for those unfamiliar with the source material, here…

Meme Remix Sketch

For my remix, I chose to edit the Crave Rave song by Noisestorm. The user can change video clips, speed up and slow down the video as much as they want, and add colors with keyboard controls. Here’s the original!

Meme Remix – Interactive Bob Ross ASMR? (Hanwen Xu)

Bob Ross is probably one of the most wholesome parts that make up the whole meme culture. I have found all the Bob Ross video relaxing, mesmerizing, and sometimes curing. So, I made an interactive remix which has Bob Ross painting cycling in the background with some painting sounds. And when you make an input…

Kermit the Frog talks politics

After watching Kermit the Frog’s TedX talk, I was inspired to remix him with a Bernie Sanders interview being a fan of both of them. I tried my best to get Bernie’s voice to sync with Kermit’s video but I found it really hard to find clips of both that matched perfectly. I’m currently working…
