Hey peoplekind! I was born in London but grew up most of my life in Providence, Rhode Island. I currently am living in Worcester full time, but I do a lot of moving in my spare time. In my current life I have been doing a lot of front-end development which for people who are not techy is designing the front of websites using code. I also do a lot of UX (user experience) design where there is a fine line as to balancing what is aesthetically pleasing to what is understandable to the user. I have had a lot of experience with digital art making and I could never really go to traditional after that due to there being a lack of a ctrl+z. I have kind of done a bit of 3D animation, 2D animation, and illustrator designs which makes me more of a generalist in the field rather than being a specialist. I have been very much self-taught in programming, and I have confidence in Python, JS, HTML, and CSS. But if there is a new language to learn for this course, I am pretty sure I can get a hang of it quickly. I currently enjoy making app and website prototypes to test with users but a creative art I like to do when I am not in a small apartment is playing the keyboard. I also play the bass and the guitar, but I would really like to get back into electronic music. One of my creative inspirations is art that is simple but has a strong meaning such as Don Hertzfeldt but sometimes the opposite also inspires me such as a Rube Goldberg machine. I am also inspired by creatures from Lovecraftian lore having grown up in Providence. Recently traveling to see family and working in a pandemic sort of halted recent creative projects but currently I have been trying to get back in the swing of designing again but images I show will be of works I deem most important. I really like volleyball, anime, and cooking and I would put those two at the top of my list. I really like to heavily analyze things and form charts. I also like to repair machinery and find cheap ways to do tasks. If you have any questions, ask away and let’s make some art!

Detailed: The barn piece had very clean lines which showed your care for getting the small aspects such as wood markings and lour sack stitching. The venom character (I’m assuming) had so many little things such as teeth and bodysuit texture you captured so well!
Funny – your animations are entertaining! They have interesting characters and events going on in it, I like it. I’ll also echo that the venom-like model is impressive as well.
Quirky: Your work has a clear personality to it, despite the variety. I especially like the dithered portrait.
Familiar – I also do UX design and your designs are very impressive and user intuitive! The interface that you use for your screens is really familiar and I use the same program!
Funny- Your animation is so fun, I couldn’t stop smiling while watching it. It very much remind me of movies like Paranorman where there is a comedic element and supernatural/scarier element working together.
Quirky – I love the Foisie piece, it’s so goofy and fun. I’m also digging the poppiness of your animations
Familiar: I would know that sack of flour anywhere, its acrobatic skill surpasses that of all other inanimate objects. I’m also familiar with that moon, I’m going to have to ask you to keep it away from my school.
Detailed – I really like the variety shown in your body of work. It’s very cool to see you hop between different media and platforms. In particular I like your work on UI/UX design, it looks well organized and handled to make it easy for users to understand.
I think I may go with ‘familiar’ because once I became accustomed to ctrl+z on Adobe Photoshop, I seemed to have anxiety about doing some more traditional art.
Familiar – I like to do 2D animation myself and I feel like your animations all look really “bouncy” in a really good way. There’s lots of really great squash and stretch.
I spent a lot of my childhood in providence but i have yet to see HP lovecraft’s grave .. F
love your stuff i just know that 3d model took forever LOL but it looks really great !! I will give you the detailed badge
