WOAH. Ok… where am I…? I guess I’m stuck in a CPU? I can see the transistors and stuff here.

Well, even though it’s my sophomore year of CS and ECE, I still don’t know enough to get myself out of this mess. I’m still thinking about Robotics and whether ECE or RBE should be my second double major… but NEVERTHELESS.

My computer should be connected to the internet… maybe I could grab some help that way?

Wow, these wires are so cool! They remind me of the sprawling streets in Philadelphia. Especially at night. Or Longwood Gardens. They had a display during the night one year that was stunning. Man… I love looking at all this electrical inner workings, it brings me back to my robot drawings. I always try to make them somewhat feasible.

What time is it even right now? What if I don’t make it back out of this computer?

Dang it, I was supposed to make more biscuits! I like to cook, especially with craisin tea biscuits being a favorite of mine. I’m kind of an all around artist with most of my experience being in digital art and illustration. I recently have been making bracelets out of seed beads, and you might see me wearing one of them! I explore different mediums a lot and love giving information about the different ones I’ve explored.

Maybe I could find a port and exit the computer that way….

After that I need to get back to work on more drawings after all my classes are done. I’m always proud of my more story driven pieces. I don’t get to do them often, but there’s always a lot of meaning behind all of them. Even a recent painting I did of my cat told a story with all the different plants that were in the painting. (My cat loves to chew Aloe plants)

Nice! I found a way out to resynthesize myself.

Before I make my escape, I’ll include a few photos of my digital, and not so digital artwork I’ve made 🙂

Otherwise, See you all in class fellow robots!

QUIRKY. The written piece is especially unique in it’s prose and scenario, compared to most of the other posts that are regular descriptions, including my own. The allusions in particular are nice, giving it an almost noir feel despite the “setting”. The art pieces are also quite quirky, with the different styles and colors make them really stand out. It’s an excellent collection!

Quirky: Your pieces are very diverse as they jump from animals to people/robots and it shows your skill set in being able to have fun in any area. The styles jump out at me because of the various expressions of the characters and the mix between traditional and digital contrast. Also, your bio was fun to read! it was like a facetime call; kept me engaged in a lively way.

Before I even clicked on your post I could tell that your bio had jokes and dialogue and such, I immediately had a hunch that you would get this badge. Lo and behold, your work is diverse both in styles and in mediums.

Shiny – For the pink and blue piece you made – I love that contrast and the illusion of light. It really pops out to me, and makes me reflect about the synthetic vs. natural parts to ourselves and how we set value on them. We see ourselves as a strange mix of the two, despite the line of nature being subjective, which makes the whole topic even more interesting. Nice work!

Quirky: I gotta say first of all, I really love how you tackled this assignment- its the most interesting one I’ve read so far. Also really love your artwork- the subjects you choose, and the way you use color also fall into ‘quirky’. You are really good ta grabbing peoples attention quickly, which will surely be really important in this class and in your future endeavors 🙂

Detailed-I love all the extra flavors you include in your work to describe your subject and add substance. Especially in your second piece, will the darker tones and descriptions of rainfall. While great for the plants, the cat is very annoyed. Really adds to the scene.

Dark- Your use of contrast with colors and shape language works so well together. I especially like the one where there is a visible boundary separating the blue and purple color in the third piece.

Quirky – Like a lot of people I was very hooked on the way you wrote the post, it was incredibly creative and fun. Your paintings are jaw-dropping, from the forms to the colors to the moods. Each piece has a very defined mood and it is awesome.

I think I may go with ‘funny’ since your introduction was a more fun one to read by describing a peculiar situation which also conveys information about yourself.
