To clean up and polish my project, I added the functionality to pause the “jellyfish” and also to have a switch that initially starts the metronomes that controls the motion for all the plates but will then just pause the jellyfish after that.

I was able to adjust the colors so that they were differentiated more so from each other and didn’t blend color wise.

In this version you can hit the spacebar and pause the jellyfish at any time after it’s initialization. The mouse click will still work as well.

I would have liked to add in the additional satellite objects representing the amount of entries in my journal each month, but I’m not quite the expert in max yet and I was able to lag out the computer immensely with the animation I was running.

Overall, this piece means a lot to me as it’s shown how much I like to deny and not write down.
