Audio Input Sketch

For my sketch, I used Unity to detect microphone volume and create particle effects with their size based on the volume of the audio. It was a neat challenge to work with microphone input in Unity as I haven’t done it before. 🙂

Connecting the size of the explosion to the volume of the speaker is a cool connection of the two, really displays those concepts well in tandem.

I like the idea of using different values of volume as a parameter. And I like how neat the firework looks in a dark background.

This is such a cool idea, one improvement that I can think of is maybe having each of the “sparks” that come out of the fireworks be a random color

These project seems very responsive and the explosions are nice to look at.

I know nothing about unity, so I am amazed in general, but in my opinion, I felt that the lag between the input and output detracts my attention.

The visual effects are super cool! Maybe changing the color of the fireworks with volume would add a cool aspect as well!
