Dylan Valev Computer Vision/Audio Input Sketch

For this sketch, I decided to make a live audio visualizer that takes in microphone input and has a shader react to the noise. Very loud distorted noise warning, I tried to make a variety of noises/volumes with the funky SFX I applied for my stream of consciousness rambling.

The glitch effects are so dope, and the color palette is really cohesive! Is the computer set up in the animation a real setup? or is it also an effect?

The computer setup was 3D modeled by me, and I threw on different shaders onto the meshes.

Ohhh this is so cool. The sound effects and the visuals go really well together. If you said some mysterious stuff into the mic this thing could be really mysterious/creepy. It gives me the vibe of listening in on a phone conversation.

I really like how you can make the model move with your voice and still keep form, this video was very pleasing to watch.

This is really, really cool. I think it would also look great if you had the lines across the computer screen “wiggle,” when the user is talking, kind of representing sound waves.

The distorted audio aids the visual aesthetic.

This project was super cool, gives me flashbacks to the obnoxiously loud old TV static that would come on when I was little
