I used a microphone and video camera for this. Everytime someone claps the video changes, Alongside this, I used a sketcher module to create line art of the user. I also created this sketch that the video is shown behind the user’s outline.

Audio Input Sketch: Too Loud
The code is simple, if the meter goes above a certain point it triggers a photo in a playlist. There are two photos to choose from, one of a man giving a thumbs up, and another of a man covering his ears in obvious stress. This is supposed to subtly tell the user to be…
The Noisy Opera Singer- Will Aaron- Computer Vision
For my Computer Vision sketch, I wanted to create a masked face for the user to wear and have that mask respond on various levels to audio input, however I changed the scope slightly into processing audio which is much more satisfying. Warning- Slightly Loud.
Audio Input Sketch
For my sketch, I used Unity to detect microphone volume and create particle effects with their size based on the volume of the audio. It was a neat challenge to work with microphone input in Unity as I haven’t done it before. 🙂
AudioScape
Hey all, I focused on a audio visualizer based on the amplitude of microphone input. I definitely could use more time with this one, but it was good proof of concept.
Conor Dolan – Computer Vision/Audio Input Sketch
For my project, I decided to recreate the iconic flappy bird game using audio as an input. I know it’s not the most aesthetically pleasing thing to look at, but otherwise I’m happy with how it came out. The more audio input you give, the higher that flappy bird goes.
Audio/Visualizer Sketch
Going off my meme remix, I decided to continue with the Kermit theme. For this sketch I made it so the user has a Kermit mask and whenever you say hello into the microphone, it play Kermit saying “hello there.” The mask would sometime not match up with the face and glitch.
Computer Vision/Audio Sketch – The Party Pixel Clapper
For this mini project I was inspired by Not Tonight and Party Hard as well as modern retro games. I used the camera and mic to create a pixel tracker and a sound checker to switch the music. I used no copyright sounds because last time I got copyright claims for my meme remix which…
Audio Input Sketch – Wingardium LeviOsa (Hanwen Xu)
So the whole idea behind this audio input sketch is an interactive Wingardium Leviosa spell casting. You would need to touch your wand to being, and say Wingardium Leviosa in the right way (say ‘LeviOsa’ as loud as you can) to successfully cast the spell. If you did not cast the spell correctly, Hermione will…
Warren’s Computer Vision/Audio Input
For my sketch, I made a glitching effect by separating certain layers of the webcam, applying it to a plane, and then changing the size depending on mic input. Each layer of color is being lagged at a bpm of 130 where only 1 is active at a time. The effect I am trying to…
Nathan Clune – Audio Input Sketch
My audio input sketch is a voice-controlled airplane. Unfortunately I haven’t been able to record it for a number of reasons involving my PC / microphone, but the Max code is more or less complete. The user can control the altitude of the plane through audio input (ideally by making engine noises). High pitched sounds…
Computer Vision/Audio Input Sketch – Squish The Squirrel
He jump. He stretch. He squish. All with the power of your screams. Ok maybe screams is an overstatement. Either way, I present to you my lil squirrel doodle that I made react to audio input. It’s a simple system, but as soon as we started discussing this project in class I knew I wanted…
Computer Vision/Audio Sketch by Garet Mildish
There’s a lot to unpack in this sketch, so let’s start from the top. This visual was created using the framediff program, allowing me to affect the speed of some audio by moving around. My idea was to take the fast part of Eminem’s Rap God and add it to the mix to see how…
Computer Vision/Audio Input (John L)
Look! There is a man trapped in that box! He can’t get out! I wanted this little sketch to reference that of what mimes do. I find it very intriguing how they can make illusions out of nothing. The only issues I had with the project was I wanted to add an audio piece to…
Dylan Valev Computer Vision/Audio Input Sketch
For this sketch, I decided to make a live audio visualizer that takes in microphone input and has a shader react to the noise. Very loud distorted noise warning, I tried to make a variety of noises/volumes with the funky SFX I applied for my stream of consciousness rambling.
Computer Vision/Audio Input Sketch: The Composer
For my sketch, I incorporated a piano that is motion censored(KSlider tool), so when the screen senses a face, it plays notes while also adding a “mask” of the composer Beethoven, I thought this would tie into the whole piano/composer aspect! A small problem I ran into was how the hand movements, unfortunately, disrupt the…
