This project I messed around with Audacity to edit creative sound effects I made around my house.
I took to making a granite drawing and making the noise of what each hand I thought would have sounded like. The device is hooked up through a MakeyMakey through MAX and uses all of the six alligator inputs. The sounds originally were from left to right: 1. Banging of silverware, 2. a knife going across a cutting board, 3. my hand with tape on it slapping a piece of paper, 4. me drinking seawater (I edited out the parts where I spat it out), 5. a spray bottle sound followed by me hissing, and 6. a weird noise I can do. These sounds were all polished through Audacity which is a great software for being free. I see a lot of potential in the MakeyMakey and I can not wait until we get to hook up our arduino boards to the machine.
For some reason my phone was not uploading my video recordings and it was not until hacking through wordpress was I able to transfer this video onto my computer and onto Youtube. Does anyone know an easy way to get videos from the phone onto the computer that does not go through mail or the drive?
