Hello everyone! My name is Lolita (or Lola) and a little about me is that although I was born in Athens, Greece, I was raised in an Albanian household in the city of Worcester. I enjoy absorbing new sources of art, whether it be abstract art showcasing or finding new shoegaze artists on Spotify. I also enjoy expressing myself through fashion, which ties to my artistic side. I view art as a way to depict my emotions, and to me, art ranges from sketches in my notebook to carefully color coordinating my outfits. Art allows me to connect to myself as it pushes me to dig deeper to listen to my inner thoughts and what I truly care about. I can uncover my likes and dislikes as I figure out what strikes me emotionally when I create something from my inner thoughts. My goal is to become more aware of not only myself but the world around me. When it comes to art-making, I lean towards traditional. My experience with traditional art ranges from acrylic paint to using pastels which I enjoy using due to the broad spectrum of colors I can create and to the physical component. Although I have limited experience with digital creation, I have dabbled in 2D digital painting creating an array of characters. I have difficulty maintaining the precise lines and shading with digital art, so I keep it traditional. I on occasion make jewelry as well such as earrings and bracelets! Throughout high school, I was exposed to a great deal of CAD, specifically Autodesk Inventor. This then led me to work with programming VEX robotics using JavaScript. I even was exposed to sawdering a circuit board with small LED lights. Aside from tinkering with technology, I consume music every day and tried to learn some beginner guitar at one point. Although music gets me in a mood to create art, something else that inspires me is nature and the human body due to their complexity! Feel free to reach out to me!

Dark – I really enjoy the dark imagery that some of these portraits have. I like the use of the skeletons and how they are used to convey a much more sophisticated message about the work.
Colorful- You use color in such a beautiful way. You work almost reminds me of quilting in how your shape language and use of outlining the subjects in your first piece. Your third piece is my favorite by far, it reminds me of an Instagram account I follow where an artist uses vintage magazines to make collages (specifically where they made a piece showing a mushroom astronaut in space, they have really fun works).
Striking – your work has certain depth to it, and each one has purposeful emotion and feeling with each one that is impressive. Your art is super expressive – I’m a fan. I love that last piece and how you draw attention with that shine. The faded words adds a whole new layer to it.
Striking – Big fan of the digital art, and its really cool that you’ve had experience in robotics. I really liked how you said your goal was to become more aware of not only yourself but the world around you, as that is very important to any artist.
Striking: It always amazes me when someone can make collages that feel like everything was made as a part of one piece, and you have definitely done that. Your collages are so fascinating, I could probably stare at them for hours. Every piece feels like its there for a reason, and it tells a story very clearly.
Gorgeous- All of the work you shared is so vivid and interesting. I especially like your third piece with the triplets over a background of Jupiter. Your fourth piece is also brilliant! Makes me imagine a scene of some sort of digitizing virus infecting and killing humanity.
Colorful: The use of color in your work is incredibly engaging and skillful. I also thoroughly enjoy the composition of your pieces.
COLORFUL: The art you have on display is certainly diverse in terms of coloration, and especially the methods used to provide said color. I notice some traditional, some digital works, even an image using color inversion, and all of them seem like they could’ve been different people making them altogether. The diversity of styles is quite impressive, and I’m curious to see how else you can diversify your works.
Detailed – you’ve managed to express so much emotion in such little space, it’s amazing. Your pieces are all like candy to the eyes; I want to look at them and pick them apart all night
Colorful – I absolutely love your use of color in all your works. I especially like the inverted palette of the second piece — it’s very unique and definitely stands out!
Dark – I really like the skeleton image because it looks like a future glitch out. I really liked seeing all the different pieces and seeing how light and dark colors work beautifully.
Striking – Your work is extremely fascinating; it grabs your attention easily and once you start looking you keep noticing new things and new details. Incredible. I also love your use of colors and negatives.
Strike – the pop of color and the glowing aspects of your art really sticks out and his very eye catching, adds a unique aspect of your art!
Gorgeous – In your description you said that music gets you in the mood to create art, and a lot of your art honestly looks like it could be on an album cover. The colors all work really well together and look like they were carefully coordinated. Your art has this kind of psychedelic feel to it, and it’s really fun to look at.
I think I may go with colorful based on the range of colors in your work and the focus on fashion and jewelry, which in my perspective, depends greatly on aesthetic and color.
Dark – Your artwork creates a certain, but familiar, uneasy and dark feeling to them. That’s a really interesting feeling to capture. I’m impressed!
Thought-provoking – Your art is exploding with creativity. I find it really hard to make more abstract pieces, so I’m really impressed with your work. I think that they say a lot about you!! Great job 😀
