Bob Ross is probably one of the most wholesome parts that make up the whole meme culture. I have found all the Bob Ross video relaxing, mesmerizing, and sometimes curing. So, I made an interactive remix which has Bob Ross painting cycling in the background with some painting sounds. And when you make an input with the little Numpad controller, some wholesome words of Mr. Bob Ross will be playing in the background. At the same time, the video will change to another mesmerizing effect. I adjust the panning of Bob Ross’ voice to give it an ASMR feeling.
The whole idea is to make you feel relaxed and sleepy while appreciating Bob Ross’ heart-warming lines.
For anyone who doesn’t know about Bob Ross, he is a painter and the host of a famous TV series named the Joy of Painting. There are a good number of memes and video parodies related to Bob and the TV series. Copied from the Know Your Memes page of Bob Ross: He was known for several catchphrases coined on his show, including “happy little trees” and “there are no mistakes, only happy accidents”; alongside his afro haircut and soothing voice became notable characteristics associated with him.

Using the numpad as your controller is a nice touch. Makes the whole experience more tactile.
It’s very interesting that there’s still a calming presence and appearance with his words and brush strokes despite the altered visuals.
The shifting echoing effect was very relaxing and makes you a bit sleepy, but the neat alternating visuals seemed to keep the piece very engaging throughout.
That’s really interesting that you were able to compile clips that actually make it sound like an ASMR video. It’s very neat.
This is impressive – and a great take on a remix. The echos and visuals really calm you down. What a great way to capture Bob Ross’s spirit.
The brush strokes were very relaxing and I felt calm even when I was taken through the vizzie twister effect.
For me personally, scratchy noises are not comforting. Paint brushes maybe, but metal on the portrait, not so much.
A nice mix of audio mixing and visual effects, a unique piece for certain, which gives off an almost hallucinogenic aura about it.
