The meme in question is softbody Steve. You can find a bunch of variants on YouTube, but the video below is a high-quality remake of the original.
The idea is basically to make a sound board loaded with random memes which can be played over this video. Which sounds go where is arbitrary even in the original version, so there’s no need for the user to play specific sounds at specific moments.
As for inputs, I have a 3rd party Nintendo Switch Pro controller which is already compatible with my PC, and I should be able to use it as my input device for Max.

Can users choose any of the noises you played with the makey makey ?
These sound choices were ALL top notch, and clearly shows the breadth of knowledge on memes you were able to dig up. My personal highlights were the last two noises; the vine boom when Steve fell on the house, and the gross sound he made when turning into jelly on top of said house. The timing was impeccably done, and I admire the effort done for the sake of a meme such as this.
