After my first week, I had just made a simple model of a wrench that could be used in my AR projects as a murder weapon or as simply an object that could be placed in my apartment using AR technologies. This proved harder than I thought, especially since I was using different programs than what we used in class. I managed to update my model to look much better, and was able to texture is slightly. It still looks very similar, but now is a darker metal color and shines light off of it like real metal. I will supply screenshots of the new model below:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

My next step was to try using it in AR like what Claire taught us in class. I exported my asset and uploaded it to a new GitHub repository so that it could be hosted there. I then used code we made in class to try getting it to pop up on my face or in the room. I haven’t had luck getting it to work properly yet but will continue to grind until its working! I will come back to this post and update it once I have it working and share a screenshot or video!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
