Description: My game concept is centered in my grocery shopping experience as a race to be finished. Personal obstacles \u2013 including the main villain, will be primarily the Stop and Shop Robot. I hate that robot. I want to create a top down racing game centered around the blasted robot. The player will be in a race against time to get out of the store while avoiding the robots and the messes they are sent to clean up.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I will use the MakeyMakey kit to create a controller that will add a difficulty element as well. I want my conductive materials to be regular grocery store items. I want to use only one tin or metal can. Every other element I use in my controller will be fruit, vegetables, sauces, yogurt and even an egg.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Marty the robot’s friends have decided to throw him a birthday party at my local Stop and Shop. I am not aware that instead of just one robot blocking my path through the grocery store, I will have up to five robots to contend with as I try to finish my shopping trip as quickly as possible.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The setting will be a top down view of a grocery store in a pixelated style. I will have a floor, aisles, aisles with different foods, spilled grocery sprites, a grocery cart sprite and five robot sprites initially.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The plan is to layout the shelving in the grocery store in a similar fashion to the image above. See my map below. The black line indicates where the player will be able to walk and the grocery shelving is indicated by text.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
