I had used Vuforia before for a similar project, but I forgot that it has licensing &amp; account requirements that would not be accessible to me in this project.<br><br>So instead of Vuforia, I used AR Foundation &amp; ARcore in Unity in order to access their built-in AR capabilities, such as using the camera on a mobile device for plane recognition. The final application I created was nothing like what I originally planned, but it was still fun to work in an AR environment.<br><br>The application I created identifies horizontal planes in the camera view and draws dirt over them to identify the playable space for the player. The user then controls a little mouse that runs around the environment by following a targeting reticule controlled by the player.
