This is my main rough design. It is an abstract polygonal sea turtle. Most parts will be larger from bottom to top, the exception being the triangular parts of the shell which will be openings that go deep into piece. I think I create an interesting contrast in the piece by letting onlookers view into the depths of the shell, a naturally closed off defense for the creature. My current plan is to create the piece from recycled cardboard. I want to use pre printed on cardboard to make a uniquely colorful and fun piece. This may be difficult working with different kinds of cardboard and avoiding clashing colors. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Below I have more sketches and writing that expalin my thought process a bit more. At this stage in planning I am most uncofident on how I want the flippers to be.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
