I used the image I created from the Drawing #1 assignment for my first cut as it was not an overly complicated design and I was able to both vector engrave and cut the image on a piece of cardboard. I chose to do my first cuts on cardboard because this is the material I used for the first layers project. I liked the texture of the cardboard and I really wanted to start off using recycled materials so I wanted to figure out the best settings to use to both cut and engrave the carboard without burning it too bad and I am definitely happy with the way it turned out!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
