Finished my lantern! My design is a box with cutouts on each side with various images\/words depicting my sorority, Chi Omega. The letters chi and omega are on the top and the words Chi Omega are on opposite sides. Two of our symbols, a skull and cross bones and an owl, are cut in the remaining two sides. My tests cut to check the kerf measurements were slightly too large, so I resized the kerf and cut out all my pieces. I sanded the interlocking sides a little bit so that the fit would be snug but not impossible. I was originally planning on using a small fake candle, but I found some fairy lights that I prefer much more. I’m super happy with how it turned out!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
