I have the pieces printed and am working on assembly! I’m deciding not to paint them because I want them to be as little of a distraction as possible, as they’ll be sitting right in front of my eyes. I got a silicone spatula that I will be cutting up to use for the wiper blades. Right now, I have metal wire as a placeholder for testing, but I’m 3D printing the bar to connect the two blades at the top, as I have found that the wire isn’t stiff enough to make sure both blades move the same distance with each swivel. It tends to buckle in the middle. I also have nails (not pictured) that are being used to secure the blades to the top bar and allow them to swivel; the holes on the bar are just slightly smaller than the ones on the blades, thus the nails stick firmly in the bar while allowing the blades to move freely.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
