I struggled a lot trying to find a design that I liked for this project. My initial design was much more intricate than my final product, but no matter now I tried, I could not organize the various leafs and flowers in a way that I liked. I thought it looked way too messy. This was the original goal of the project- to show the crazy unpredictability of nature, but I simply did not like the final design. I did everything from reorienting the layers, to adding layers and removing layers, but it either felt too sparse or too busy. When I printed my first draft it did not work out the way I wanted, so I switched to a much simpler design of a forest. I plan to draw and paint on the construction paper to add some more detail and variation of the design, but I like the way this looks much more than the busy leaves and flowers. <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
